Why We Ask Different Questions

If you've ever tried a group fitness class before, you've probably experienced something like this:

Sign the waiver.

Find a spot.

Follow along as best you can.

Hope you're doing it right.

Leave wondering if everyone else understood what was happening except you.

There's nothing wrong with that.

But it's not how we do things.

When someone walks through our doors, we don't start with a workout.

We start with a conversation.

Because before we can help you reach your goals, we need to understand what those goals actually mean.

Someone might tell us they want to lose 30 pounds.

That's a great goal.

But it's rarely where the story ends.

So we'll ask:

"Tell me more."

"What would losing 30 pounds allow you to do that you can't do today?"

That's when the conversation changes.

"I used to be so consistent."

"I just want to feel like myself again."

"I want enough energy to hike with my family."

"I've spent years taking care of everyone else."

"I know what to do... I just can't seem to do it anymore."

"I just need to know I can handle whatever comes next."

Those answers change how we coach.

Because if someone's real goal is to feel confident walking into a room again, simply handing them a workout isn't enough.

If someone wants enough energy to play with their grandkids, they need more than access to equipment.

If someone wants to prove to themselves that they can finally stay consistent, they don't need to be left alone hoping motivation shows up.

They need a coach.

That's why we don't just sell access to workouts.

We coach people.

That coaching starts before your first workout ever begins.

Instead of throwing you into a workout and hoping you figure it out, every new member begins with a series of Foundation Sessions.

We'll show you around the studio.

Teach you how the workouts are structured.

Help you learn the movements.

Answer every question.

Build a plan together.

Then, when it's time for your first workout, you won't feel like the new person trying to keep up.

You'll know where to go.

You'll know what to do.

And most importantly, you'll know someone is in your corner.

As we kept having these conversations, we realized something.

Our old name for that first appointment didn't really describe what was happening.

Calling it an Introductory Session made it sound like a tour.

But it was much more than that.

It was the beginning of a coaching relationship.

The beginning of understanding what brought someone here.

The beginning of building a plan around the life they want to live, not just the body they want to have.

So we gave it a new name.

The Strong Again Session.

Why "again"?

Because almost every woman we meet has a version of herself she remembers.

The woman who was confident.

The woman who followed through.

The woman who had energy.

The woman who believed she could handle hard things.

The woman she was before life pulled her in a million different directions.

Our job isn't to help you become someone completely different.

It's to help you reconnect with that strong, capable woman that's been there all along.

That's what Strong Again means.

Before we talk about workouts...

Before we talk about nutrition...

Before we talk about punching harder or lifting heavier...

We'll ask one simple question:

"What does getting strong again mean to you?"

Because strong again looks different for everyone.

And that's exactly why we ask different questions.

Reading about it is one thing. Doing it is where things actually change.

Your free intro session is a no-pressure test drive: try the punching bag, talk to a coach, see if it clicks. That's it.
